This part of chitosan cannot be absorbed and utilized by plants.

This small molecule chitosan (chitosan oligosaccharide) has a molecular weight of 200-2000 and a sugar molecule number of 1-10. It is easily soluble in water and can be absorbed and utilized by plants and animals.
