Rucaparib is used to help maintain the response to other treatments for certain types of ovarian cancer

(cancer that begins in the female reproductive organs where eggs are formed),

fallopian tube (tube that transports eggs released by the ovaries to the uterus),

and primary peritoneal (layer of tissue that lines the abdomen) cancer.

Rucaparib is indicated for the maintenance treatment of adult patients with a deleterious
BRCA mutation (germline and/or somatic)- associated recurrent epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube,
or primary peritoneal cancer who are in a complete or partial response to platinum-based chemotherapy.
