Lenalidomide

Lenalidomide is an immunomodulatory drug with multiple mechanisms of action. In in vitro studies, lenalidomide has three main effects:
1) Direct anti-tumor effect
2) Inhibit angiogenesis
3) Immune regulation.
 lenalidomide induces tumor cell apoptosis directly or indirectly by inhibiting bone marrow stromal cell support, anti-angiogenic and anti-osteoclastic effects, and immunomodulatory activity.

Lenalidomide is also used to treat conditions such as myelodysplastic syndrome and lymphoma. It is often used as part of a treatment regimen with other medications.
