Isoniazid is an antibiotic used to treat mycobacterial infections; most commonly use
in combination with other antimycobacterial agents for the treatment of active or latent tuberculosis.
Isoniazid has a strong bacteriostatic to bactericidal effect on mycobacterium tuberculosis,
and also acts on intracellular bacilli. Low toxicity, easy absorption, strong penetration, used for various types of tuberculosis;
It is easy to produce resistance when used alone, and is often used in combination with p-aminosalicylate or streptomycin.
