Butylphthalide  is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug used primarily to treat rheumatoid arthritis,
rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and other rheumatic diseases, as well as to relieve mild to moderate pain and fever.
The mechanism of action of butylphthalide is to reduce prostaglandin synthesis by inhibiting prostaglandin
synthase, which in turn reduces inflammation, pain and fever symptoms.

Butylphthalide is a commonly used anti-inflammatory drug for the treatment of rheumatic diseases and for the

relief of mild to moderate pain and fever.
