MAP

MAP(Ammonium dihydrogen phosphate) is a chemical agent, also known as monoammonium phosphate, which is a white crystal.
It decomposes on heating into ammonium metaphosphate (NH4PO3), which can be made by reacting ammonia with phosphoric acid.
MAP is mainly used as a fertilizer and fire retardant for wood, paper and fabrics, and is also used as a pharmaceutical and ruminant feed additive.
