Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic for the treatment of bacterial infections like bacterial sinusitis,

acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, and community-acquired pneumonia.

Moxifloxacin is used for the treatment of sinus and lung infections such as sinusitis, pneumonia,
and secondary infections in chronic bronchitis. Also for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis (pinkeye).
The mechanism of action of moxifloxacin is mainly to inhibit the synthesis of bacterial DNA and play a rapid bactericidal role.
