Apramycin sulfate is an aminoglycoside antibiotic, mainly used to treat infections caused by sensitive bacteria. It has antibacterial
activity against various Gram-negative bacteria and some Gram-positive bacteria. The mechanism of action of Apramycin is similar
to that of other aminoglycoside antibiotics. Apramycin sulfate binds to the 30S ribosomal subunit of bacteria, interfering with protein synthesis
and thereby inhibiting the growth and reproduction of bacteria.
