Undecylenoyl phenylalanine is a melanotropic hormone (α-MSH) receptor antagonist
that acts on the biochemical reactions at various stages of melanin formation triggered by α-MSH,
intercepts melanogenic signals, controls the binding of α-MSH (melanocyte-stimulating hormone) to melanogenic factors,
and effectively inhibits tyrosinase activity, thereby suppressing melanin formation.
Undecylenoyl phenylalanine can effectively inhibit the formation of melanin caused by α-MSH,
and at the same time, it can act on multiple stages of melanin formation,
which can be used to whiten or reduce the deposition of melanin in the epidermis,
to improve the skin problems of dullness and roughness,
to even out the skin's skin tone, and to prevent, delay, and deal with hyperpigmentation in the skin.
